My husband and I have lived in Bethlehem for 5 years, and we finally made it to The People’s Kitchen for Sunday morning breakfast. I’m just sorry it took us this long! The place is small and no-frills, and honestly, that’s exactly what I loved about it. It feels like a true neighborhood spot where everyday people can walk in, grab a giant mug of coffee, and get a seriously delicious breakfast that’s anything but ordinary. The music was also on point with quiet Sunday morning jazz keeping the mood chill. There’s one guy cooking right in front of you and two wait staff, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The menu is detailed, creative, and very reasonably priced. You can absolutely get the classic eggs, bacon and home fries, but there are plenty of next-level options, too. I ordered the Stoney Baloney and my husband had the Debbie Downer, both served with home fries. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. And the local Monocacy Coffee comes in giant mugs, which is always a win in my book. Great food, great people, great prices, and zero fuss. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience dining here on Linden Street. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. The highlight was definitely the baked dish served in the cast-iron skillet. It arrived hot with a perfectly cooked egg on top, which was a lovely touch. We also really enjoyed the sandwich served with a side of jam and the nicely toasted bread that came with our other meal. I am already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu.

How does this place exist in the late 2020s? Walking into The People's Kitchen feels like discovering a secret treasure. Nearly everything on the menu is less than $10. The food is scratch. The decor is fun and bicycle forward. The music is retro and slightly uncommon. Delicious. Highly recommend.

The People’s Kitchen is a cozy neighborhood brunch spot located on Linden Street in Bethlehem. It’s open daily from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, except Tuesdays. I had a massive craving for the mac and cheese, so that’s what I ordered. It comes with a potato base, bacon, sausage, and, of course, mac and cheese, with the option to add an egg. Super heavy, but absolutely delicious. My friend had the Full Monte, made with turkey bacon, two fried eggs, and melted Gouda on multigrain ciabatta, served with a side of sweet berry compote. A perfect balance between sweet and savory. On top of the food being fantastic, the prices are affordable, and the staff, especially Ashley, was super friendly and welcoming.

We are going to stay over due to the snow/ ice. Lucky us we are .4 miles from this gem! Thank you Billy et al. We will be back.
